What is Ozil AI?
Ozil AI is the TikTok trend where you put yourself into Mesut Özil's 2016 Champions League goal: the chip over the keeper, the two dodged slide tackles and the calm finish into an empty net. Here you upload one photo and get that goal back as a 15-second vertical clip with you as the scorer, ready to post.
The goal is Özil's for Arsenal at Ludogorets in the Champions League on November 1, 2016, in the 87th minute. The joke of the trend is that anyone, in any outfit, scores that same goal. How-to videos for CapCut and Dreamina templates were on TikTok by October 10, 2026; one posted by @kalila3676 on October 13 had 2.5 million views by October 16, and searches for "ozil ai", there since October 8, jumped on October 15.
This site is independent and not connected to Mesut Özil, Arsenal or UEFA. Every video made here is AI-generated, and the kits carry no club crests.

Who should score the Ozil goal?
The joke is who scores it. These are the people the trend's videos put on the pitch.
You, in what you're wearing
A hoodie, a work shirt, a tracksuit: your everyday clothes in a floodlit stadium are the whole joke.
Your grandma or grandpa
Grandmas turn up again and again in the trend's videos, pulling off a pro finish. Ask yours first.
A friend or coworker in office clothes
A shirt and slacks dodging two slide tackles. They have to be an adult who said yes.
Someone dressed for anything but football
A suit jacket, a pink tracksuit, a bucket hat: the less it looks like a kit, the better the goal lands.
